History of Rajasthan

The state of Rajasthan has been formed by combining ancient princely states. For this, on 17 March 1948, the 'Matsya Union' was formed after uniting the princely states of Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur, and Karauli. After this, in 1948, these nine states were also included in Baswara, Dugarpur, Kota, Bodi, Jhalawar, Kishangarh, Pratapgarh, Shahpura, and Tonk. On 18 April 1948, the princely state of Udaipur was also included in this new equation. On 30 April 49, the princely states of Bikaner, Jaipur, and Jaisalmer were also merged and the fishery association was also included on 25 April 49 and this alliance was named Vishal Rajasthan Sangh. On 25 January 1950, the princely state of Sirohi was added to it. Making a final change, the new state was renamed Rajasthan on 1 November 1956, including Ajmer, Abu, and Sunel Turpa.

Jaipur - The Pink City

Jaipur, also known as Pink City, has the distinction of being the capital of the state. This city of historical importance, covered on three sides by the Aravalli mountain ranges of Haritiya, was inhabited by Kachwaha Maharaj Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727 and the city came to be called Jaipur, after his name.

Gantor is a unique historical place 6 kilometers from Jaipur near Kanak Vrindavan on the Amer Marg. The carving here is unique. The Gantor has chhatris of the kings of Jaipur. These are mausoleums called umbrellas. The umbrella of Raja Sawai Jai Singh II looks most beautiful and different here.

Ramnivas Bagh is a good place for tourists seeking cultural information.
